Carbon Tax compliance for GHG emissions
The South African Carbon Tax Act through participation on the International Panel on Climate change (IPCC), has since implemented measures to stabilize emissions of GHG's to the atmosphere. In 2011, A research paper was presented by Neo Modise, Sasol, Dr. Michiel Kruijff, Serco/ESA, Dr. Andre Bos, S&T, Rob Bos EuroPIMS, Dr Arjan Mieremet, S&T, Prof Amnon Ginati, ESA jointly to a panel during the IAC (International Astronautical Congress) 2011 in Cape Town South Africa, presenting the use of Space Assets to monitor Pipeline infrastructure.
